What is Shaded pole motors?

Shaded pole motor is the most simple single phase AC motor, usually  aluminum rotor. It is different based on the stator shape and structure.

 

The salient-pole shaded pole motor,which stator core shape is square, rectangular or circular magnetic framework, the magnetic pole projecting on each pole were short copper ring by one or more supporting role, i.e. shaded pole windings.
