   With the improvement of environmental awareness,more and more people adopt pellet fireplace.

   There are 3 shaded pole gear motor in pellet stove motor,there is key part in the pellet fireplace.

   One is shaded pole gear motor,one shaded pole motor with a gearbox,the motor always used YJ61-25 and Yj61-30,the other is exhaust fan motor,one shaded pole motor with big metal fan blade,the other is shaded pole motor with Axial flow motor.

What is Shaded pole motors?

Shaded pole motor is the most simple single phase AC motor, usually  aluminum rotor. It is different based on the stator shape and structure.

 

The salient-pole shaded pole motor,which stator core shape is square, rectangular or circular magnetic framework, the magnetic pole projecting on each pole were short copper ring by one or more supporting role, i.e. shaded pole windings. The concentrated winding salient pole as the primary winding.

 

When the primary winding is energized shaded pole motor, shaded pole winding will produce the induced current, covering pole winding part of the magnetic flux to not cover part.

The advantage is a simple structure without additional winding and capacitor.

The difference between synchronous and asynchronous

The difference betiween synchronous and asynchronous is rotor and stator rotating speed with the magnetic field, if the rotor  and stator speed is the same, it is called synchronous motor, and if not, is called asynchronous motor.

when the number of pole is fixed, the motor speed and frequency have fixed too that is synchronous motor. Asynchronous motors, also called induction motor, the rotor speed work is always less than the synchronous motor.

So-called "synchronous" is the winding current flowing in the armature (stator), Form a rotating magnetic field in the air gap, while  the direction of rotation and the rotation speed of the magnetic field is same, the same speed, so for synchronization. Asynchronous motor, the rotating magnetic field and the rotor there is a relative speed, which produce torque

How the single phase shaded pole motor work?

Shaded pole motor has two shaded pole ring (also called short-circuit ring), shaded pole ring can hinder the transfer of magnetic field lines in a magnetic field, The part no shaded pole ring is stronger than the part have shaded pole ring of the magnetic field strength, which form a rotating magnetic , the difference of magnetic field  force on it, this cases will have a rotational force acting on the rotor, which is to make motor start work.

As single phase shaded pole motor coil through single-phase AC power, we know that the spread of the single-phase AC power is a form of a sinusoidal AC curve.

Take 220v 50hz(china market) for example its direction can transform 50 times in one second.we know that when we pass into the shaded pole coil voltage, power coil will produce the direction of the magnetic field, the magnetic field lines and current direction is closely related to the direction of the right-hand rule to determine the magnetic field lines.

The difference between Induction motor and shaded pole motor

Induction motor, also known as "asynchronous motor, it is mean  the rotor is placed in rotating magnetic field, under the action of the rotating magnetic field, to obtain a rotational torque, then make  the  rotor move.

The rotor is rotatable conductor, usually mostly squirrel cage shaped.

The stator  is not rotated, the main task is to produce a rotating magnetic field.

Rotating magnetic field is not achieved by mechanical but an alternating current in the number of the electromagnet,  the nature of the magnetic pole cycle change, it is equivalent to a rotating magnetic field.

This motor not as DC motor brushes or the current collector ring, based on the single-phase motors and three-phase motor with a kind of the AC single-phase motor is used in such as washing machines, electric fans, etc.; three-phase motor as the driving force of the factory device.

Shaded pole motor (Shaded Pole Motor) is the simplest kind of single-phase AC motor, usually cage chute cast aluminum rotor. It is based on the stator shape the structure of different, such as YJ58 motor,YJ61motor,YJ82 motor,YJ84 motor,YJ48 motor.is divided into salient pole shaded pole motor and salient pole shaded pole motor.
